Data in context: Spotlight on art museum visitor experience data

This poster presents comparative analyses of data from the first full year of art museum participation, aggregate data highlighting broad findings from 10 art museums across 8 states. Situating these findings among 26 other COVES members, including science centers, natural history and children’s museums, comparisons across the cohort of art museums explore if or how much institutional variation exists, and then between art museums and other participating COVES sites to see if there are differences between museum types. Rounding out the presentation of quantitative analyses, qualitative data will offer diverse perspectives and quotations from key staff at participating art museums specific to their use of data.
